The Real Deal About "Fresh Leads" (after 19 years of internet marketing experience)"Fresh Leads" are junk.....too rough? I'll accept that.
Every "fresh" lead is going to 3-5 websites on average, hoping to get a quote on life or health insurance, only to be bombarded over the next 48 hours with 147 insurance agents trying to get their business.... If you're new, FYI, this is not a great environment to walk into....especially after you just spent $18 on a "Fresh", "Exclusive" lead.... There's no such thing as fresh, or exclusive insurance leads, unless they are telemarketed leads, sold directly to you.... Personally, I would much rather call someone who has owned their insurance for 3-6 months, a small business owner, who is SICK of paying $2000 per month for health insurance. THAT person is a FRESH LEAD every month, every time he pays his premium. He's DYING to figure out a way to save money on his health insurance.....and you can be there to help him. Let him get warmed up....let him go through 3-6 cycles of hatred for his old insurance agent that gave him a $2000/month bill of extortion. Let him get angry.....let him rant, rave, and holler.... You'll be there to listen, you'll be there console, comfort, and reassure.....you'll be there to help. And guess what....this person....this man trying to feed his family, while trying to keep them safe and healthy....is happy to provide for his family....he just wishes it wasn't so damned expensive. This person....needs your help.....and while some other poor schmuck paid $18-$32 for his information 6 months ago..... You have him today.....for ONE DOLLAR. For ONE DOLLAR.....you get the lead who's desperate, angry, and emotional....compliment his emotion with logic....and the deal is done.
